Excellence in Production
Our strategy proves to be expedient in this industry. In the nationwide competition of “Excellence in Production,” our tool shop won in the category of “Internal Tool shop under 50 Employees” in 2013 and 2015 - we were also nominated as finalists in 2012.
"Excellence in Production" is the annual competition held by the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering WZL of the RWTH Aachen University and the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT to find the best tool-maker in the German-speaking world.
This coveted prize has been awarded to the Tool and Form Construction industry for the past ten years. Evaluations based on a comparisons between well-known German manufacturers within this industry. Here, it is evident: One does not give away expertise and competencies, which have been developed over decades. That is why KIRCHHOFF Automotive counts on its own tool shop in Germany.
